Acupuncture – an advantage?

acupuncture healing

Before discussing the benefits of acupuncture first, talking about the origins of acupuncture. It is a family of procedures that stimulates the anatomy of the body and helps balance the energy in the body.

The Yin is representative of the principle of cold, slow, or passive and yang represents hot, excited or active principle. A healthy state is achieved by maintaining a balance of yin and yang. This is done through vital pathways or meridians that allow the flow of qi, or vital energy. The flow of vital energy occurs channels known as meridians. These meridians connect over 2,000 acupuncture points along the body. There are 12 main meridians and 8 secondary meridians. Although traditional western medicine does not understand how acupuncture works, proof it works is shown in various studies conducted by the Western medical facilities.

Acupuncture has proved effective in many areas of health. The study showed that acupuncture was able to relieve pain, improve function and mobility of joints due to inflammation of arthritis, and served to complement standard care.

It is proposed that acupuncture works and its effects through regulating the nervous system. The theory proposes that since acupuncture produces the effect by regulating the nervous system, causes the release of endorphins and immune system cells at specific points on the body. There is also the theory that acupuncture changes the brain chemistry by changing the neurotransmitters in the brain.

Absolutely. Because acupuncture works from the conviction that we must maintain the balance of our vital energy flow to remain healthy, acupuncture is a tool for rescheduling. It is in this capacity that acupuncture serves as a kind of preventive medicine.
